Monday, Jan. 30

A Davis Street woman told police that a neighbor was harassing her daughter.

Fire crews doused a car fire at 12:11 p.m. on Howland Street.

A missing teenage boy turned up safe and sound at Mt. Hope High School at 5:47 p.m., less than an hour after police first received a call. He was advised to call his mom.

An Old Market Street resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

A Metacom Avenue woman told police she suspected that someone entered her home while she was gone.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

Police charged Darryl Larrivee, 25, of 62 Cutler St., second floor, with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct, after they were called to his apartment at 3:45 a.m. for a domestic disturbance.

A loose dog was spotted on Ivy Street.

A person who possibly was drunk was spotted on Market Street, yelling obscenities at passing motorists at about 12:43 p.m.

Jennifer L. Souza, 35, of 202 Market St., was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended, canceled or revoked registration. Police pulled her over at 3:27 p.m. on Metacom Avenue.

Timothy Guinen, 20, of Fall River, was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Metacom Avenue at 3:51 p.m.

A Water Street resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.

A Water Street man called police to report neighborhood kids playing in his yard.

Ronald G. Cook, 42, of Providence, was charged with disorderly conduct and malicious damage to property after police were called to Homestead Avenue at 6:42 p.m. for a disturbance.

Loud music was reported on Market Street at 11:38 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Loud music was reported on State Street.

Richard E. Sousa, 40, of 7 Davis St., second floor, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police checked out a suspicious person spotted looking into windows on Cole and Child streets at 2:09 a.m.

Dennis A. Silva Jr., 26, of 35 State St., was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, second offense, and also arrested on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court in Providence, after police pulled him over at the corner of Child and Monast streets at 7:34 a.m.

A renter on Kinnicutt Avenue told police that the landlord shut off electric service.

A Market Street man told police that his girlfriend took items from his home.

A Homestead Avenue resident reported finding a knife in his yard.

A woman told police that her boyfriend took her car without her permission. However, she told police she didn’t wish to press charges.

An argument was reported on Market Street at 2:33 p.m.

A Water Street resident reported being assaulted.

Carlos Borges, 47, of 17 Company St., Apt. 1A, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery, third offense, and domestic disorderly conduct, after his wife called police at 11:26 to report that he hit her.

Police received several calls about a coyote around 9:30 p.m. One call came from a field on Old Market Street, and another from the area of Iggy’s on Market Street. A third caller reported being chased by what he believed was a German shepherd, also in the area of Iggy’s.

A woman reported a past domestic disturbance on Sixth Street. Soon after, police charged Joshua P. Luis, 26, of 8 Sixth St., with domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property, and domestic disorderly conduct.

Friday, Feb. 3

A Wood Street man told police that someone keyed his van overnight.

Tools were reported stolen from a Franklin Street building.

A Market Street tenant reported being harassed by a landlord.

Police received a call about a woman on Metacom Avenue who appeared drunk. Officers checked it out and ultimately requested a rescue truck for her.

Ronald W. Barber, 48, of 398 Main St., was arrested on a Rhode Island Family Court warrant.

A caller from Church Street reported that two men threatened his family.

A Union Street woman reported receiving harassing text messages.

Two Joyce Street residents were arrested on bench warrants issued from Sixth Division District Court in Providence: Ronald E. Wright, 64, of 66 Joyce St., Apt. 23, and Eric M. Gemma, 30, of 66 Joyce St., Apt. 25.

An Arlington Avenue man told police that his brother-in-law attacked him, then fled in a green Camry.

Saturday, Feb. 4

Jaime F. Vieira, 48, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, BAC .15 or greater, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after allegedly striking a telephone pole on Wilbur Avenue at 1:25 a.m.

A woman reported a past sexual assault.

A Greene Street resident reported being harassed by a fellow tenant.

Emergency crews were dispatched to Railroad Avenue for a man who super-glued his hands together.

Police were called to a neighborhood dispute on Child Street.

Michael P. Sousa, 22, of 439 Child St., Apt. 1, was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on St. Teresa Drive at 4:33 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 5

Casey S. Welch, 18, of Bristol, was arrested on a warrant out of Bristol.

Gina M. Andreozzi, 23, of 44 Union St., was arrested on a warrant for simple assault or battery and disorderly conduct.

ATVs were spotted operating on private property on Chace Street.

Margaret M. Tindall, 47, of 459 Child St., third floor, was charged with simple assault or battery after a disturbance on Child Street called in at 3:36 p.m.

A Main Street man called police to report that someone ran though his yard.
