Warren police logs: From the week of Feb. 15, 2012

Monday, Feb. 6

An Arthur Avenue woman called police at 6:19 a.m. to report that a man knocked on her door and asked for a ride. Police tracked him down, determined he was drunk and lost, and drove him to a friend’s house on Prudence Lane.

Christopher M. Williamson, 40, of Coventry, was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Main Street at 11:19 a.m.

Joshua P. Landskroner, 31, of Bristol, was arrested on a Bristol warrant and handed over to authorities in that town.

Mark A. Botelho, 26, of 18 Greene St., second floor, was charged with second degree child molestation.

A robbery was reported at Jack’s Family R estaurant, Child Street, at 8:02 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

Jason C. Daluz, 26, of 6 Bee Jay Court, was charged with obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest, after police went to Kickemuit Road at 2:49 a.m. to investigate narcotics activity.

A car owned by a Main Street resident slipped out of gear and rolled into a tree just before 9 a.m.

Jessica L. Weathers, 30, of 55 State St., second floor, was cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after police pulled her over on State Street at 10:57 a.m.

A Joyce Street resident reported smelling marijuana in a common hallway. Police responded and smelled it too, but it was so faint that they could not determine the source.

Police got a call about a disturbance on a RIPTA bus.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

James M. Myers, 41, of 3 Paul Court, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, after police pulled him over on Child Street at 12:31 a.m.

An Arlington Avenue resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls.

A Wood Street woman reported feeling threatened by a neighbor.

A Market Street man told police that a neighbor harassed his daughter.

A Market Street renter said a downstairs neighbor was beating on the ceiling.

Thursday, Feb. 9

A Birchswamp Road resident complained that a dump truck was speeding up and down the street.

A bike was reported stolen from Child Street.

A Market Street woman told police that someone threatened her husband.

Friday, Feb. 10

A Market Street man told police a neighbor threatened him.

Police returned a wallet found on Main Street to its owner.

A man was spotted yelling at cars on Child Street at 6:03 p.m.

A caller found a syringe on Child Street.

Police were called to a roommate dispute on Davis Street.

A drunk male on Child Street elicited a police and rescue response at 9:22 p.m.

Loud music was reported on Davis Street at 10:37 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 11

The family dog bit a boy at his Main Street home. The dog was up to date on its shots; the boy was taken to the hospital.

Luis C. Avila, 43, of 30 Federal St., was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police responded to Child Street at 12:28 a.m. for a report of a drunk man.

Police responded to a dispute on Cole Street.

Police got a call at 3:24 p.m. about a masked person possibly carrying a firearm on Brown Street. It turned out to be no problem; just kids playing in the woods.

Police were called to a domestic disturbance on Taddy Avenue at 5:08 p.m.

A Fatima Drive resident reported receiving threats.

Sunday, Feb. 12

Elizabeth A. Sousa, 38, of Bristol, was charged with domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to Seymour Street by a man who said his wife would not leave his property.

A man was spotted yelling at Market Street traffic at 9:09 a.m. Police told him to go inside and stop bothering motorists.

Jacob C. Dady, 26, of 211 Market St., Apt. 2, was charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, after a neighbor said marijuana smoke from his apartment was wafting into hers.

Frank T. Canario, 73, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence, BAC .15 or greater, and failing to stop at an accident scene, after police said he was involved in an accident at Main Street and Coomer Avenue at 6:59 p.m. and left the scene. Police pursued him and stopped him on Truman Street at 7:06 p.m.
