A barking dog was reported on Fern Drive.

Police determined that nothing was amiss after a mother told officers that she suspected her husband took the phone out of the hand of her son, who had called her for a ride home, and hung up. Actually, police determined that the father had disciplined the son after the boy yelled at him; he was upset about the discipline and had called his mom to ask for a ride home.

A King Street resident reported the fraudulent use of a credit card.

Police responded to Cutler Street for an argument between roommates.

Saturday, Jan. 14

A Brown Street woman reported a no contact order violation.

A possible domestic disturbance reported on King Street at 10:58 p.m. turned out, instead, to be a loud party.
