BARRINGTON — To the editor:
If you like pizza, there’s no better place to be than the Pizza Tasting Face-off on Sunday, Jan. 29, from noon to 3 p.m. at Barrington High School.
There will be over 15 local pizzerias in attendance, all vying for your vote for several categories like best crust, best toppings, etc. The event is hosted by Barrington Girl’s Hockey Association, a local non-profit that supports our Lady Eagles with funding for ice time, bus to practice, and equipment to enhance the varsity hockey experience, as well as scholarships for student athletes.
The Lady Eagles are enjoying success this season with a 7-2-1 record, and vying for a state championship playoff slot. Come on out and wish the girls well, and enjoy some pizza, and while you’re there you will see some amazing raffle and auction items. Bid on a Brad Marchand signed puck, a beautiful weekend house in NH, Sunset Cruise Charter on the Bay, golf at RI Country Club, a free week at Barletta’s Hockey Camp, and much, much more!
