Angelo Costa, 77, of Warren, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at home. He was the husband of Maria (Moniz) Costa.
Born in St Miguel, the Azores, a son of the late Antonio and Teresa (De Souza) Costa, he was employed by American Tourister. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and the Warren Soccer Club.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Angelo Costa of Warren, Gil Costa of Providence, Walter Costa of Katy, Texas, Mikle Costa of Plymouth, Maria M. Serbst of Bristol, and Maria C. Costa and Angela Teixeira, both of Warren, his brothers and sisters, Luis Costa, Jezuina Rapoza and Antonio Costa; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Allie, Ariel, Shana, Ethan, Jack, Lauren, Emma, Bryce, Caleb, Cole, Calvin and Kayden. He was the father of the late Teresa Costa and brother of the late Manuel Costa.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 6, from Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, with a Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacom Avenue. Interment followed in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery.
